Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act 2011, regulations on the Scheme in terms of Section 19 of the Sectional Titles Schemes Management, 2011 (Act No 8 of 2011) hereinafter referred to as Sectional Titles Regulations. Click here

The Regulations for fees and levies seek to impose levies within the community scheme payable for the use of the Community Schemes Ombud. Further, they seek to impose fees for application, adjudication and other fees payable for the Community Schemes Ombud.

The Regulations on Community Schemes investigate Board Activities, Levies and Service fees, Promotion of good governance training and education and annual returns.

The Scheme Regulations focus on aspects such as the minimum amounts of contribution that must be made towards the reserve fund and identified risks Body Corporates should be insured against.
