Masstores' Game wins ConCourt battle against Pick n Pay

Pick n Pay said that Game’s selling of fresh foods interfered with its contractual agreement to have the exclusive right to trade as a supermarket in the shopping centre, which is owned by Hyprop.

The court on Friday, though, ruled that Massmart did not violate any agreements by trading as a supermarket.

The leave to appeal was granted. The appeal was further dismissed with costs, to be paid by the respondents, Pick n Pay.
