Congratulations to Mr Mashilo Pitjeng (Imovative Real Estate) who has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Gauteng Provincial Council. We would like to thank Dr Sedise Moseneke, outgoing Chairman of the Gauteng Provincial Council for his valualbe and ongoing support to SAPOA. We have been busy in the Gauteng region, planning networking functions, halfday workshops, golf day, breakfast sessions and so forth. We have had a very successful breakfast session recently, partnering with Deloitte & Touche to address the issue of Carbon Tax. We are in the planning stage of taking this event to the Western Cape and KZN regions, so keep on visiting the regional events page for more info as the invitations should be ready soon. We also partnered with ACSA to host a very successful cocktail evening at OR Tambo International. ACSA is very keen to partner another event at Cape Town International, so once again keep visiting the regional page for more information. Mr Ivan Pauw & Les Oakenfull presented the Gauteng Planning and Development Bill at the Michelangelo Hotel on 20 July which was well received. Watch this space for the "follow-up" session.
