SPONSORSHIP ANNEXURE 1:  THE ADJUDICATION PROCESS

The adjudication committee will meet once all sponsorship forms are received and meet within one week of the closing date:

The Adjudication criteria

Benefits to both parties associated with the partnership in relation to the sponsored activity to include:

  • The potential to leverage additional resources from sponsor, limited to events such as the convention dinner, the main convention sponsorship and other events that may require additional unforeseen funding from the sponsor and expertise to make the event a success.
  • The potential for a long-term, sustainable partnership or relationship.
  • In line with the SAPOA code of conduct
  • In line with the provisions of the Property Charter and  BBBEE
  • The sponsorship fee will be taken into consideration
SAPOA is not bound to accept a proposal from a potential sponsor on a first come first serve basis.

The above mention criteria will take precedence.

The adjudication committee’s decision is final.   SAPOA reserves the right not to enter into any negotiations and/or deliberations before or after the process has been completed.

SAPOA reserves the right to invite short-listed prospective sponsors to discuss their respective submissions with the adjudication committee at a mutually agreed date.
