SAPOA, or the South African Property Owners Association, is the representative body and official voice of the commercial and industrial property industry in South Africa.

The South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) was established in 1966 by the leading and large property investment organizations to bring together all role players in the commercial property field and create a powerful platform for Property Investors. SAPOA, the Voice of Commercial Property, is recognized as the representative body and official voice of the commercial and industrial property industry in South Africa, with a combined portfolio in excess of R 500 billion. SAPOAmembers control approximately 90% of all commercial and industrial property in South Africa.

We are held in very high esteem by the relevant sectors of government and are therefore consulted on all matters pertaining to the property industry. SAPOA also enjoys representation on key South African bodies, which are key to the country's property development.

SAPOA re-appoints Rates Watch to monitor rates policies

Rising municipal rates and taxes is a hot-button issue - one that negatively affects, not only operating costs and gross rentals, but also makes demand on property management resources. To this end, the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) have re-appointed specialist consultants Rates Watch on a 5 year contract to monitor rates policies.

City of Ekurhuleni Exploration of the use of treated waste water
